Many of the Las Vegas chapels offers theme weddings like Star Trek, Camelot, or Elvis’s Blue Hawaii. Las Vegas wedding packages covering everything from the rise of the town to legendary star marriages and an entire section devoted to “The King,” it even has a chapel guide to help budding young couples plan their own Vegas wedding getaway.
If you want married by Elvis, a lot of the chapels like Viva Las Vegas Wedding Chapel will let you bring your own Elvis however, and he can perform the ceremony on camera and in front of the guests for you, but you do have to see the real minister beforehand, who officially marries you in a private meeting that only takes a couple of minutes.
The Excalibur’s Canterberry Chapel looked wonderful and clean and they were able to easily change the guest number of family that showed up. They show up in a dress, hand you the flowers, tell you what to say and it’s done. No fuss needed. I had no problem with getting my pictures on time, but I wished the video quality was a little better. Maybe their camera has been updated though. No regrets.
Special Memories Chapel is very pretty (in a New England chapel way) and the staff were very friendly. If you want Vegas style kitsch they do have a drive up window but we opted for the very pretty chapel inside and were very pleased with the whole experience.
The Little Chapel of the West is a really nice, non-tacky place. It is just off the strip and is reasonably well-seperated from the Glitz of the rest of the strip. The priest is great and the ceremony very traditional. The wedding chapel there is really nice however I would only go for this option if you want to conduct your wedding in the midst of the las vegas madness!
The chapel named Mon Bel Ami is very elegant and very inexpensive. It would be the elegant cermony that would have cost us thousands back home. It’s about $200+ less then most of the other hotel chapels, and you’ll get a great package and they where very willing to make changes to make it exactly what you wanted. The ceremony is definately fast and they keep the ball rolling through so they can get to the next but this is Vegas.
