Travelling Portugal

Portugal is fantastic looking county, especially the Algarve region in the south. The beaches are clean and the people are warm and friendly and just love the tourists. It is a very quaint old country with lots of architectural interest and fantastic for shopping. There are plenty of little streets filled with craft shops and the museum and castle are also very interesting.

First of all, you can visit Lisbon – the quite the trendy city and fairly euro fashion forward. Pants or jeans are most acceptable here, as in most of Europe, for men. You may stand out as an American if you wear shorts. If you choose to wear shorts, the standard “khaki” shorts are most appropriate and you can’t go wrong with a button front shirt or something like a “polo” shirt that has a collar.
