Visiting Milan

My wife and I spent a few days visiting Milan before we went to Venice in June last year. I found Milan beautiful and the people were so friendly and hospitable.

Milan is pretty expensive for food and drink. But taxis, accommodation etc. were about UK average. To be honest, if you’re from London, the prices may be more on par with what you’re used to anyway. But then, as with most places, it depends on where you choose to dine etc. The restaurants and cafes in the main touristy or fashionable areas are more expensive, but if you head off the beaten track, you’ll find it’s more affordable.
