A wonderful city Hamburg located where me Elbe rolls to the North Sea. Its bridges are the most numerous comparing to any European city – more then in famed thousand times praised Venice, more then in the great London, more then in self-proud Amsterdam rolled into one: they are around two and half thousand here!

Free and Hanseatic city of Hamburg – this is its full name. Having such a “sur­name” it doesn’t need extra recommendations and pre­sentations. Everything is in this name: federal significance, and ancient history, strength and power, wide economic and thereafter cultural relationship with the whole world. In XIII – XVIII centuries Hamburg was in the Hanseatic league – strong military block of merchant guild, which had implemented a trading monopoly in the Baltic Sea, partially captured the North Sea and main part of the North Europe.
