Trip to Copenhagen

I was in Copenhagen last year and stayed in Ibis hotel next to the central station and Tivoli gardens. From there you can start a half-day walk that takes you to see most of the attractions. Start from Radhus square, then walk Stroget (it is considered the longest pedestrian street in the world) all the way to the Nyhavn canal.

Continue by the sea to Amalienborg Palace (home of the queen) and then to the Little Mermaid. Visit the park that is just across and on your way back, make a stop at Marmokirchen (a really impressive church). Somewhere near there, you can stop for lunch at Galileo or Ida Davidsen, two local restaurants that serve great Danish dishes (sorry, cannot remember the name of the street). After you are fed with smoeabred, visit the gardens of Rosenborg Slot and then walk your way back through Stroget.
