New York Hotels
If you are planning a stay in New York, there are high quality New York accommodations, so you can make a good choice.
The first hotel I recommend is Salisbury. The rooms are a spacious two-room suite that was perfect for families such as ours with children. One room had two beds while the living room (same size) had a comfortable pull-out couch. The area is great and the staff is very pleasant. We got a great deal through one of the many online services. The booking was for a maximum of four but I called the hotel and they were fine with our extra child. New York City with kids
New York City is a popular destination for families with children of all ages. New York is home to many of the world’s best museums. Visiting one of New York City’s museums is a great way to spend a cold or rainy day or to add an educational element to your New York City visit.
I recommend trying to get tickets to a Yankee Game for you and your kids (Yankee Stadium will be gone in a few years as they are building a new one). A hotel in Midtown (preferably, at least for me, away from Times Square) is recommended. Times Square is worth seeing but its always very busy and noisy/touristy. I usually recommend trying to get something closer to the center (6th Avenue, 5th Avenue, Madison Ave., Park Ave.
