Jurmala Beach & Spa Resort
The name of the Latvian summer playground Jurmala simply means “seashore”. Jurmala, located just 25 km from Riga, is the largets resort in the Baltic States.
Jurmala has won the status of Healthiest Town assigned by the World Health Assocition. Since the 19th century it has provided recreation and relaxation for large numbers of people thanks to its seemingly endless 33 km long whote sandy beaches, pine forests and elegant building.
Jurmala has been closely linked with health and wellbeing thanks to the mild climate, se, fresh air, curative mud and mineral waters. The modern spa hotels continue the tradition.
