The Le Clos Saint Martin hotel is the only hotel in the town with a swimming pool (well 2 pools actually) and I can thoroughly recommend it. The Clos St.Martin is a fairly new hotel so the rooms are very clean and fresh, they’re not super stylish or anything like that but are perfectly comfortable. It’s the gardens and pools that make it really special. Yes, they do have parking but I think they charge extra for this.The Hotel du Port in St Martin on several occasions in the past (but only for weekends) and have always found it very adequate for the couple of nights we were on the island. It offers clean, simple accommodation and the owner is very welcoming. It is very well located on the harbor front – you might want to ask for a quiet room (although we have never been bothered by noise). The beach, which is small and crescent-shaped is perhaps a kilometer away at most.
Hotel la Jetee, which is right on the little harbor. It’s very nice.
Hotel Senechal in Ars de Re is gorgeous place. You will enjoy beautiful walks in the marshlands with lots of birds and also bicycle rides. There are cafes and restaurants in Ars en Re. But it depends at what season you go there. Plenty of in summer season, many are closed off-season.
