Miles and miles of fun for the whole family all year long…
An established Hampton neighborhood reborn where vintage beach cottages share the zip code with newly constructed town homes and bay-front estates. A promenade offers the modern equivalent of a stroll down the boardwalk where visitors enjoy bay breezes and sunshine.
Buckroe Beach’s eight-acres are guarded from Memorial Day through Labor Day by certified lifeguards. Kayaks and peddle-craft are available for rent in-season, as are beach chairs and umbrellas. Shore-side picnic shelter complete with tables and grills may be reserved, while a waterfront playground provides year-round fun for children. Canine-friendly Buckroe even offers a “Bark Park” for man’s best friends to romp and play. See park staff for a membership application for your pet.
During the summer months, the Buckroe Beach waterfront pavilion hosts free family movies every Tuesday night. Live music and dancing on Sunday evenings begin the week on the right foot and, depending on the weekend, spectators find many special events to cheer about, ranging from volleyball tournaments to lifeguard competitions.
