The range of terrace cafes, open throughout the year, with drinks and up-to-date music is enormous while the number of discos, bars and shows is almost infinite. On the other hand, for a quieter form of enjoyment devoted to relaxation and health care there are numerous spas, health centers and thalassotherapy clinics. A large number of hotels also offer facilities with modern gyms, saunas, spas and masseurs.
The brilliant cultural life of the Canaries is reflected in the large number of art galleries, exhibition halls, museums of contemporary art, scientific museums, concerts and such like.
